Stories of Transformation
Meet some of the individuals whose lives have been changed forever.
Before the program I could not feed my children or buy clothes or take them to school. When my husband abandoned me, I became so stranded. My children could some days sleep hungry. Now I own a sewing machine, I work providing school uniforms, and I can pay rent and feed my family. God can provide!
I was healed, I walk on my new legs, I cook for my children, my children are going to school. I established a small business which has now become big. I save $43 every two weeks in my savings group. I feel great and loved by God — even more than when I had all my legs.
My family members were suffering from unclean water for many years — fetching from a swampy area where cows and goats also drank. Now I use the water for my vegetable garden, for making bricks, for cooking and drinking. People no longer get sick. I praise God with the entire community of Kalagala!
I could not read the Word of God or pray boldly. When I received my Bible, my life changed. I started reading, boldly preaching the gospel, and leading my group well. Four new groups have been started and seven people have given their lives to Jesus. I feel joy and peace and growing knowledge of God.
